Another Date Night | The Beautystand

This was date night. It was a little warmer than usual but I knew it would cool down later in the evening, so I brought along a scarf. I wore this in the fall too with fishnet stockings and black pointy pumps. My sister thought I should have put it away until next fall but I think it looks great with gladiator sandals and a pretty cross body purse. I could also stick a silky top underneath for a retro vibe!

I am obsessed with accessories. Love, love, love them! Although I have to admit I can be a bit of an accessories snob. With accessories and jewelry I know I will have them forever so I like to invest in good pieces. I'm perfectly happy with a dress from Forever 21 as long as I can pair it with a nice handbag and belt. I love this Prada belt because I can wear it with just about anything and it makes everything so much cuter. I bought this Rebecca Minkoff purse because I walk a lot and need good crossbody bags to fit my wallet, phone and lip balm. Birthday in Las Vegas | The Beautystand

Mandi recently had her heart broken right before her birthday so I decided it was time for a girls trip to celebrate. We gathered our closest girls and went to Vegas where we had the best time laying in the sun and some other things I'm not allowed to talk about of course:) Vegas is great for girls trips because where else can you get milkshakes delivered to your room at 3:00 am? 

Our cousin Maria is an amazing producer and she was so sweet to shoot a video for my beauty line Treat while we were there as well. I can't wait to see how it comes out and share it with all of you. 

Can you tell I like the hat I'm wearing in most of these pictures? As you can see from my posts I am obsessed with protecting my skin from the sun. Lately my skin has been having a bad reaction to sunscreen so I need to wear a hat now more than ever. I love this one is from our store Beautystand because it has a sun protection rating of UPF 50+ so I practically live in it. 

I love this video. All of the girls were hanging out before dinner and Mandi shot this on her phone. I thought her soundtrack was so cute so I had to share. Enjoy!

My sister and I have over a dozen nieces and nephews to buy Christmas presents for so it seem like we are  spending a lot of time shopping right now. I like to carry a cross body purse when I'm shopping because it's so much easier if your hands are free. I usually walk to the mall and get my exercise in at the same time. Here are some of the necessities I have to have in my purse when I'm shopping. What do you carry in your bag?

I normally live in my Treat Grape Lip & Cheek Stain but I usually use it on my cheeks. Today I did a bright lip with it and just love it! 

If you don't own a leather jacket you should get one. I live in it and it adds a little something to every outfit from pants to dresses. I bought a cheap one from Forever 21 first because I really wasn't sure if I was a leather jacket girl. I wore it so much I then bought a real leather one and it is a staple in my closet now. 

Our neighbors had these cute little Halloween decorations in their yard so we used it for our background. Even though I color my hair it stays in good condition because I use a sulfate free shampoo. It really has made all the difference in the health of my hair. I like to wash my hair every day so I use Treat O'my Goodness Your Hair Is So Soft Organic Aloe Shampoo.
