The Beautystand JalapeƱo Infused Watermelon Margarita Recipe

Happy Friday everyone! If you love watermelon and spicy your going to love this. I know summer is over, but here in Oregon were having an Indian summer. So, to start out you'll need to infuse your tequila with your jalapeno. Cut the jalapeno in half and put half in your tequila bottle. If you want to make a smaller amount, you can refer to our drink post from last week.

1 1/2 oz Triple Sec
3 1/2 oz jalapeno infused Tequila
1 to 2 slices of watermelon
1/4 cup ice
2 Tbsp salt or sugar

Muddle your watermelon in your shaker, if your making a lot of drinks you could also use a blender or food processor. Pour in your tequila and triple sec also your ice, shake vigorously. I like my glass rimmed in sugar, but my sister loves eating her watermelon with salt, so I used salt on hers. Its so easy just rub the watermelon or a lime across the rim, then dip in your sugar or salt. Pour and serve.
Have a safe and fun weekend!

The Beautystand Organic Cucumber Martini Recipe

A Cucumber Martini is a very refreshing cocktail for a summer night BBQ or lounging on the back deck with your honey. I paired mine with a grilled steak salad with fresh romaine lettuce.

Ingredients
2 1/2 oz of Rain Organics Cucumber Lime Vodka
1 1/2 oz of Lejon Extra Dry Vermouth
4 slices of cucumber
1/2 cup of ice
2 Tbsp of sea salt
2 grinds of fresh ground black pepper

Muddle your cucumbers in your strainer with the black pepper if desired, add your ice and liquor. Before I strain, I like to add sea salt to the rim of my martini glass. The best way to do this in to rub your cucumber along the rim of the glass then the dip in the salt. Shake vigourously and pour. Garnish with a cucumber and serve!
