Swollen under eyes can be caused by dehydration, lack of sleep and aging. To help reduce them be sure to drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep. Swollen eyes and puffiness isn't something you have to live with if you use this simple home remedy. I love drinking tea because there's something very calming and soothing about it. Plus as an added bonus I use the tea bags as an eye compress to soothe swollen under eyes and dark circles. Green tea works especially well because it is an anti-inflammatory.
Take your used tea bags and stick them in the fridge for about 5 minutes to cool. If you don't drink tea just soak the tea bags and then stick them in the fridge. After they have cooled, place them on your eyes and leave them there for about 10 minutes. It's a good time to chill and relax for a while to calm your eyes and your nerves.
