When I was a little girl my favorite movie was The Parent Trap. Not the one with Lindsay Lohan but the first one with Hayley Mills from 1961. What I really loved the most about the movie was the clothes and I'm pretty sure this is where my addiction to gingham comes from. Anytime I see a gingham shirt I fall in love. It makes me think of summer at the lake, camping and sunshine. This outfit would be great for the upcoming 4th of July as well. I'm wearing my Treat Cotton Candy Lip Creme so the whole outfit makes me think of summer!

Summer hasn't officially arrived in Oregon so it's been rainy and wet outside. I've been going away to the beach for the last few weekends to scope out some new Treat retailers and get away from the gloomy weather. I was definitely in the nautical mood because everything in my suitcase was striped. Here are some pictures of my outfit I wore the day I left.

I know it may seem excessive to buy three of the same shirt but this one from H&M is the perfect one. It's super comfortable and soft and can be dressed up or down. Plus it's a steal at only $12.95. Love it!
